We started off our morning with a trip to Shriner's Children's Hospital so Nicholas could be fitted in his new Knee Ankle Foot Orthopedics (
KAFO's).

Adam marked off the parts to trim so that they would fit Nicholas perfectly...first time standing up with a little help from mom

After we left Shriner's, we had a yummy lunch at Gustav's. Who doesn't love a little cheese fondue for lunch?

After we arrived home Nicholas and I walked over to our neighbor Erin Darling's house to visit her, Mason, and their new baby, Bella. She is quite the cutie and Nicholas just kept saying "hi" to her over and over again. Mason is such a proud big brother!
After we got back from the Darling's house, Nicholas was so exhausted from the long day that he promptly fell asleep.
I so enjoy all these wonderful days with my little man!

Oh! What a milestone!!! When do you get the braces? Will he be able to stand on his own with them? I can't wait to see you guys! I'm all excited about our playdate!!!
See you soon! Have an excellent time in Vegas!
Which suit are you taking with you??? ;)
He actually has them now, Brienne. I am so excited about our playdate, too! For the Vegas trip I am thinking I will take 3 along-one for each day I am there! :D
what a total rush it must have been for all of you to have Nicholas standing upright! My heart just skipped a beat seeing him standing so big!!!!! What a total doll baby. Did he have any of the fondu cheese?
It was very exciting for him to stand! No, he didn't try any fondue...he had mashed potatoes & gravy, chicken, and applesauce. He also tried some shrimp and crab for the first time and loved it!
shooting stars!! His big moments are so exciting and from his persistence may that stud boy keep it up!!!
He is SO adorable!! Yay, big boy!
