Holy Saturday Egg Hunt

The day before Easter, the kids were invited to a neighborhood Easter egg hunt. Nicholas wasn't feeling up to it, so he stayed home, which was good because it started pouring rain the minute the hunt started and Nicholas isn't especially fond of getting soaked in rain showers. 

Ella didn't mind at all. She put on her raincoat hood, her rubber boots and braved the rain to hunt for eggs filled with candy. 

The egg hunt was over pretty quickly with the kids wanting to grab the eggs and get out of the downpour as fast as possible. 

When we got back home, Ella opened all her eggs and counted her candies and put them in a bowl to eat over the next several weeks.
