Last weekend Jeff & I had our first overnight stay (sans kids) in six years. Some of our friends gave us a gift certificate for the Columbia Gorge Hotel after Nicholas passed away, so we scheduled some time away during the only weekend in May we had free. My in laws joined us and we enjoyed a weekend full of shopping, brewery hopping, and yummy food. The weather was gorgeous and Hood River is such a perfect town to explore. The hotel we stayed in was built in the 1920's and has so much character. It was truly a wonderful weekend getaway.
